Behind the scenes of Buck Mark
Being a Grip PA on a big budget short film
This June I had the exciting opportunity to work on a large budget proof of concept short film called Buck Mark. While I was unpaid as a Grip PA, it was a fantastic learning experience and has led to some great connections.
If you look carefully you can see me in the background of quite a few shots.
Below are a few of the BTS shots I managed to get.
My friend Simone, props PA, working as a stand-in on day one.

My friend, Jessie Sines, as camera PA on day one.
Sheltering from the rain with Matt Auman, Cher Kowalski, and some lighting equipment on day one.
Fellow Grip PA, Matt Auman, and I unloading the grip truck on day two.
A lot of sitting around in the grip truck on day two.

All-in-all it was a lot of work, but I got to meet and work with some really great people.
